What this measures
Your visuospatial sequence span — the length of an ordered sequence of positions you can hold and reproduce. It is not an intelligence test and does not predict anything away from this game.
It grows by one each level — how far can you go?
Questions
- What does this measure?
- Your visuospatial sequence span — how long an ordered sequence of positions you can hold and reproduce. The level you reach is that span. It is not an intelligence test and does not predict anything away from this game.
- What is a good level?
- We do not publish one — there is no norming sample behind any number here, so any level we named would be invented. The sequence grows by one every level, so the run gets harder until it ends; the level you reached last time is the thing to beat.
- How is my score decided?
- By the longest sequence you reproduce correctly, in order. One wrong tile ends the run — the level you had completed is your score.
- Does practising make me smarter?
- No — you get better at this task, which is a real and honest thing to get better at. We do not tell you it transfers to work, school, or IQ.
