What this measures
Your visuomotor pointing — how fast and accurately you move to a target and hit it. It is not an intelligence test and does not predict your rank in any game.
Precision for your average time and accuracy, or a 30-second blitz.
Questions
- What does this measure?
- Your visuomotor pointing — how fast and accurately you can move to a target and hit it. It is not an intelligence test, and it does not predict your rank in any game.
- What are the two modes?
- Precision gives you 30 targets one at a time and reports your average time per target and your accuracy — the clean measured run. Blitz is 30 seconds of targets with a combo, for the arcade high score.
- Does a touchscreen change my score?
- Yes — a mouse, a trackpad and a touchscreen all feel different and add different amounts of input lag, so scores are only ever compared within the same kind of device.
- Will this improve my aim in games?
- You will get better at this task. Whether that carries into a specific game is limited and depends on the game — we won't over-promise it. It's a fun, honest measure of pointing speed.
